Welcome to the website of Mathematics Study Program, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang\u00a0Malang<\/span>This website is a means of\u00a0publication<\/span>\u00a0to provide information and an overview of the Mathematics Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in carrying out services in the education sector.<\/p>

Through the existence of this website, it is hoped that students and the public can find out all the information about the Mathematics Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in the management of the education sector.<\/p>

The Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was established based on the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Guidance No. E\/107\/1998, May 13 1998. At that time, the Mathematics Study Program was still a study program with the name Mathematics Tadris (Education) Program under the auspices of the STAIN Malang Tarbiyah (Education) Department. The next development was the establishment of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) which contained two departments, namely the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Biology. Based on the recommendation of the Director General of Higher Education, Department of National Education No. 3445\/D\/T\/2002, 20 November 2002, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences STAIN Malang developed into 4 departments, namely Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. When STAIN Malang officially became UIN Malang in 2004, the Mathematics Study Program became one of the 6 study programs in the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Malang.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Profil Program Studi Sarjana Matematika<\/strong><\/p>

The Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is one of the study programs that has been approved for an operational permit based on the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Higher Education, Ministry of Religion number 3445\/D\/T\/2002. This study program started academic and non-academic activities in the 2002\/2003 academic year. Job opportunities for graduates of the Mathematics Study Program include industry, academics (Lecturers and Teachers), research assistants, mathematics practitioners, data science, actuaries, programmers. The Mathematics Study Program has five scientific consortium fields, namely the Algebra, the Mathematical Analysis, the Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial, and Computational Mathematics. The field of study of courses in each consortium field refers to the graduate profile which is also studied from the job opportunities of graduates of the mathematics study program, Faculty of Science and Technology. Each field of scientific consortium has created a research plan which is contained in a research roadmap scheme. The Mathematics study program has been equipped with a scientific laboratory as a facility to support the successful development of scientific fields and implementation of research roadmap plans.<\/p>

To become a leading study program with an international reputation in the development and application of mathematics with the strengthening of computation that combines science and Islamic values.<\/p>

  1. Organizing mathematics education that is oriented towards mastering concepts and applications of computing based on the integration of science and Islam.<\/li>
  2. Developing innovative and ethical mathematical research for the development of science and the benefit of the community.<\/li>
  3. Carrying out community engagement by applying mathematics as a solution to social and educational problems<\/li>
  4. Establish collaborations with educational institutions, industry, and government agencies in the development and application of mathematics.<\/li><\/ol>

      Scientific Building of Mathematics Study Program<\/strong><\/p>

      Science and technology are part of human knowledge. Like every knowledge, science and technology has three components as pillars supporting the body of knowledge it develops.
